I'm pleased you enjoyed it. This was partly inspired by someone on my flist wanting weird Series 2 Sherlock (http://pennypaperbrain.livejournal.com/653604.html). So I went back to a Sherlock voice that I've used in a few previous fics, where there's a titanic struggle between Sherlock's love for John and his own massive ego. There's something very funny, in a rather warped way, about someone fighting his own love for someone else and losing.
