There are so many great characters in Sherlock that we see only very briefly, so I love imagining what the world looks like from their angle. It's the first time I've written Kate/Irene together (I've written separately about them both) so I wanted a more sympathetic Irene for a change; I find it hard sympathising with a character who shows no vulnerability.
