Handwriting meme and sneak preview

I picked up this meme from kalypso-v, who was getting us to post something in our own handwriting. This is a (slightly reduced) scan of part of a first draft from my current WIP. (I write most of my fics in longhand to start with). If anyone, other than the professionally trained paleographers of my acquaintance, can read much of this I will be surprised. Even I can't always read what I've written, and this is a relatively good section, where I haven't ended up writing extra bits in the margin as they occur to me.
But I can write longhand faster than I type, and I can write in bed and on trains and on the porch seats of North Carolina holiday cabins, and basically anywhere where I've got a biro and the paper won't get wet. So this is my method (and my handwriting) and I'm sticking to it.

Note: I did a lot of calligraphy when I was young, and I can still do a decent display hand if really necessary. This script, however, is designed for speed.
